The 2008 Championship Results

The 2008 Championships at La Manga in Spain were decided between the 19th and 21st January 2009. Below are the results in reverse day order.

In extremely testing windy conditions the competition went right to the wire with the overall result requiring a countback. To win overall, Ireland, represented by Rosslare needed to beat Wales, represented by Pontypridd, by 4-2 to win overall…and they did!

Congratulations Rosslare and Ireland.
