Nigel Dolton Trophy, from Rosslare Ireland
|
The 2008 Home Nations Final Trophies and Prizes
The 2008 Championships at La Manga in Spain were decided between
the 19th and 21st January 2009. The table to the right shows the home nations and the clubs representing
them following success in their national finals.
In extremely testing windy conditions the competition went right to the
wire with the overall result requiring a countback. To win overall,
Ireland, represented by Rosslare needed to beat Wales, represented by
Pontypridd, by 4-2 to win overall…and they did! Congratulations
Rosslare and Ireland.
