Junior Team Golf

Nigel Dolton identified that although there were and are many different golf competitions, none catered for an under 18 inter club championship for the whole of Great Britain. He set up Junior Team Golf in conjunction with Paul Richmond of Saab, who provided the initial sponsorship for the event.

The set up of the Championship has meant that it is possible for club teams to include boys and girls from wide age groups even in the finals. In 2007, players as young as 14 took part.

The 2007 finals were from the 8th to the 10th January 2008 and were featured in an hour long programme on Sky Sports at the end of January.
